Rinchenpong Kaluk Homestay Committee is a non- governmental organisation whose aim is to develop & promote the villages of Kaluk & Rinchenpong as village tourism and homestay destination. The committee is supported by the State Institute of Capacity Building, Karfectar South Sikkim. The autonomous institute is the vision of the Chief Minister of Sikkim, Dr. Pawan Kumar Chamling which aims to provide skill building training to unemployed people of Sikkim and hence helping them earn a livelihood in the process.

On May 2014 with the same vision to enhance the capacity of the villagers of Kaluk & Rinchenpong in West Sikkim, the Chief Administrator of State Institute of Capacity Building; Mr. S.D. Dhakal inaugurated a 3 month course in Homestay Tourism. The aim of the course was to provide the necessary skills of operating a homestay to the trainees. A total of 28 trainees enrolled for the course and during the 3 months tenure they were taught different aspects of operating homestay like welcoming guests, communicating, food production, housekeeping & more.
